Wedding Arms

Happy Fitness Friday, friends!  How was your week?

The sun is out, the coat is off, and this weekend is my favorite holiday!  There’s a lot to accomplish today with work, interning, and my own to-do list, so let’s get crackin’ and talk about arms.

I’m [slightly] ashamed to say that I’m lifting heavier weights because I know my wedding is coming up.  No, I don’t have an exact date yet, but we are still aiming for September of this year.  EEK and YAY!  There are so many factors playing into us me feeling comfortable signing a contract for our venue.  Factors including: working 50+ hour weeks, graduating with my masters in exactly three weeks, studying for my CHES (certified health education specialist) exam, not having a job lined up following graduation, and living two hours away from my fiance.  It’s a challenge, but I know we will get there.  Planning for our wedding and our marriage will take a little more time than either of us have right now, and that’s okay.  We will not so patiently wait.

Until then..back to arms!  You all are incredibly wonderful for putting up with me 🙂

After class and before a late night event yesterday, my MPH buddy and I tackled an arm workout and a 3ish mile run.  The lifting was tough, but felt awesome afterward.  We both get married this year (hers is next month!) and would love to have more definition in our upper body for all the photos and to feel strong on the big day!

If you try it, let me know what you think!

What are you doing this weekend?

What is your favorite upper body exercise?
